History

Having grown up in a small town in Ohio, Eden’s weekends consisted of softball on Saturday and church on Sunday. A bit of an introvert, she's never really had any "true" friends. She got along with nearly everyone, but there was no real connection. There is one exception to this however, that being Jennifer, Her childhood best friend. The two met at youth group, Jennifer's boisterous personality aligning with Eden's more down to earth attitude. They kept in contact with one another through the years, however Jennifer seemed to grow distant after moving to the city.

Eden was close with her older brother, Noah, despite him being much older. She looked up to him and he tried to support her as best as he could. This continued even when Noah dropped out of college, which their parents and neighbors disapproved of. This had the unfortunate result of when it came to Eden going to college she had all of the expectations for Noah passed onto her shoulders.

Moving from a small town to college life in the city was a rough transition for Eden. She was naive and felt lost there, worsened by the fact that she was suddenly out of reach of anyone she knows. Her family was in a different county and while Jennifer was physically near, she practically ghosted her. Eden was isolated and vulnerable.
